Hello. You left an angry comment on my site, so I figured I should comment back to clear some things up.

I wasn’t concerned that the word “drugs” was used, I just thought it was a little silly to see the phrase “scary druggie.” That’s why I said it’s important to educate oneself… so many people attach these incorrect stigmas to people with drug problems. As a former user, I speak for myself and for my friends in recovery. Not all addicts are “scary” or bad, because addiction doesn’t discriminate. That’s why it’s important to think before taking stabs at people in such a stereotypical manner.

Honestly, I don’t think anything I said in that comment to Meg was extreme or “psychotic.” I just explained what I know. I’m not attacking her for listening to that type of music, because even I like some of those bands. My comment was just an observation that I’ve made in the six years of seniority that I have to you guys. I can’t say I’m surprised by the flood of comments I received from angry thirteen year olds, but I didn’t say anything as remotely out of line as in the comments I got back.

The people who left those comments will get to be my age someday, and will see that saying “wtf! fuck u and go die, u crackhead!!! u fucking loser!!!” is pretty futile and never made anyone seem remotely intelligent, either.

Oh, well.

Even if I’m not proud of my past drug problem, I’m not ashamed of it, either. I’m not going to hide it from people in fear of their responses, because my experiences make me who I am and I’m proud of who I am today. I won’t try to explain the disease of addiction, because it would make this comment turn into an essay.

I still don’t think I was attacking Meg on that topic, I simply said that it’s important to be educated on an issue before you go spouting off misinterpreted information. That’s all.

I don’t like people who do work on our house, they turn the electrics off without telling us. We go ‘Electric going off is it? ‘ and they play dumb and say they think they told us. Fools. I could just imagine someone fitting a floor tile or something then me going behind them and kicking them, then running off laughing. Our smoke alarm is so stupid, it goes off randomly. Yeah I guess it must be devastating. I remember when my grandad had a stroke, and it was really weird when we went to see him in the hospital and he just kept crying and we didn’t really know why, it was strange and not nice to see really.

Yeah my Mum/Dad always buys my stationary haha, I say it’s for education benefits, not mine haha, then buy a pencil case that’s like £7.99 ROFL.
